Charli XCX: ‘Brat Summer Is Only Just Beginning’
Charli XCX has hinted that there’s more to come around her smash hit album brat.

The singer changed the message on a billboard in Brooklyn that was promoting brat to read “ok, bye”. The move led to speculation that Charli could be readying an entirely new project but she responded to the rumours with a post on X reading, “brat summer is only just beginning.”
Charli recently caused a sensation when she teamed up with Lorde for a remix of the brat track, Girl, So Confusing. The track is widely believed to be about Lorde, with Charli singing: “People say we’re alike/ They say we’ve got the same hair/ We talk about making music/ But I don’t know if it’s honest.”
On the new remix, Lorde responds by singing, “Well honestly I was speechless when I woke up to your voice note / You told me how you’ve been feeling / Let’s work it out on the remix.” The remix has already hit No 3 on the US Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
