Charli XCX & Lorde Share ‘Girl, So Confusing’ Remix: Listen
Charli XCX and Lorde have shared their much anticipated remix of the Brat track, Girl, So Confusing. Listen to the remix below.

The track is widely believed to be about Lorde, with Charli singing: “People say we’re alike/ They say we’ve got the same hair/ We talk about making music/ But I don’t know if it’s honest.”
On the new remix, Lorde responds by singing, “Well honestly I was speechless when I woke up to your voice note / You told me how you’ve been feeling / Let’s work it out on the remix.”
Lorde praised Brat on her Instagram stories when it was released, writing, “The only album I’ve ever presaved is out today. Charli just cooked this one different… So much grit, grace and skin in the game. I speak for all of us when I say it’s an honor to be moved, changed and gagged by her work. There is NO ONE like this bitch.”
Charli recently discussed Girl, So Confusing on the La Culturistas podcast, “I haven’t quite decided whether I’m revealing [who it is about],” she said. “When I wrote it, I was like, ‘I’m revealing!’ But now, you know, the time is here; I’m like, ‘Mmmmrrmm.’ Do you think I should reveal?… People are gonna guess. You probably have an accurate guess, and I’m not gonna say out loud ’cause you’ll tell by my face, but it’s probably going to be that person.”
