Coldplay Announce New Album ‘Moon Music’, Out October
Coldplay have announced their new album Moon Music, which will be released 4 October. The first single from the album, feelslikeimfallinginlove will be out on Friday (21 June).

Each vinyl copy of the album – produced my Max Martin – will be made out of nine recycled PET-plastic bottles that have been recovered from waste, which will prevent the manufacture of more than 25 metric tonnes of virgin plastic, and provide an 85% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to traditional 140g vinyl.
Likewise, CD editions of the record will be the first in the world to be released on ‘EcoCD’, created from 90% recycled polycarbonate, sourced from post-consumer waste streams.
There will also be a limited ‘Notebook Edition’ of the record, which comes as a casebound hardback book, a replica of frontman Chris Martin’s original studio notebook. It will contain 28 pages of notes, lyrics and illustrations from the album’s creative process.
Back in January 2023, Martin told the Toronto City News that the band was nearing completion of what he then promised was the second LP in the Music of the Spheres series. He remarked “that won’t come out for a bit,” though he teased that the band “might” start rolling out some of the new songs live that year.
