Ed Sheeran Designs And Models Football Kit
Ed Sheeran has designed and modelled the new third kit of his hometown football club, Ipswich Town.
The singer has been the shirt sponsor for both the men’s and women’s teams since last season. According to the League One club the kit incorporates versions of the cover of Sheeran’s = album, released last year.

Sheeran said he wanted it to be “a cool bit of clothing people around the world would want to wear”.
Revealing that he was asked by the club “to help design the third kit”, Sheeran added that he “wanted to make something with a subtle homage to the album”.
Paul Macro, head of retail operations at Ipswich Town, said: “We thought it would be great to get Ed involved in the design of our third kit. “Ed loved the final designs and it’s great to finally show off this collaboration to our supporters.”
Sheeran, 31, grew up in Suffolk and is a long-time supporter of the team. Ipswich fans were quick to give their seal of approval to the new shirt, with the club’s online store witnessing heavy traffic and long waits to place an order.
Meanwhile, Aitch and Ed Sheeran have debuted at No 1 on the Official Trending Chart with their new collaboration, My G.
Taken from Aitch’s debut album Close To Home, My G seems set to become the album’s biggest new track out of the gate, and it’s currently heading for a debut inside the Official Singles Chart Top 10 this Friday.
Currently at No 7, if My G hangs on it will become Aitch’s eighth and Ed’s 39th UK Top 10 single, and his fifth of 2022 – following Peru with Fireboy DML (2), The Joker and the Queen (2), Bam Bam with Camila Cabello (7) and 2Step (9).
