Run The Jewels, Charli XCX and The 1975 were among the acts bringing this year’s Reading Festival to a close.

Run The Jewels delivered an impassioned set to a huge audience, drawing on much-loved songs from their four albums and closing the set with an emotional A Few Words For The Firing Squad (Radiation), watch below.

The entire Run The Jewels set can be watched now on the iPlayer.

The 1975 closed the festival. They were announced as the last-minute replacement for Rage Against The Machine earlier this month after the US band were forced to pull out after frontman Zack de la Rocha suffered a leg injury on their North American tour.

The 1975 frontman Matt Healey acknowledged the situation during their set by apologising that Rage Against The Machine couldn’t appear. “We fucking love Rage Against The Machine,” Healy said. “Give it up for Rage Against The Machine. If we had the time, we would have done a cover of Rage Against The Machine. If it was the other way around, they definitely wouldn’t do that!… Shout out to them. I will stand by being Rage Against The Machine and having a gammy leg is quite funny. That is funny, but we love them. We love you guys.”
