Lizzo Announces New North American Tour Dates For 2023
Lizzo has announced a new run of 2023 North American tour dates in support of her latest album Special.
Tickets go on general sale this Friday (November 18) at 10am local time here.
The 17-date run will see Lizzo visit cities she didn’t hit on the initial run of Special shows, including St. Louis, Memphis, Montreal, Baltimore, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Phoenix, and San Diego.
Meanwhile, the trailer for the forthcoming documentary about the singer, Love, Lizzo, has been released.
“I’m always chasing the music,” says Lizzo in the trailer. “Y’all have no idea how close I was to this not being a thing… It took so much hard work to get to where I am today, but I found my voice. Now, when people see me on stage, they see themselves… Music gave me the opportunity to be who I am.”
A statement from HBO Max on the documentary reads, “Every once in a while, an artist changes not only music, but culture as well. Lizzo has done both. This is the journey of a trailblazing superstar who has become the movement the world desperately needed just by being herself. The HBO Max documentary LOVE, LIZZO shares the inspirational story behind her humble beginnings to her meteoric rise with an intimate look into the moments that shaped her hard-earned rise to fame, success, love and international stardom. LOVE, LIZZO streams Thursday 24 November, only on HBO Max.”
