The Eras: Kylie Minogue podcast launches on BBC Sounds and globally on RSS on UK bank holiday Monday 28 August, and will tell the story of Kylie’s career through its era-defining chapters. Hosted by Scott Mills, each chapter will be told by fans, commentators and packed with exclusive material from the BBC archive.

Radio 2 announces today that for the fifth and final episode of ‘Eras,’ Kylie will sit down with Scott Mills for an exclusive, career-spanning conversation. They’ll reflect on 35 years at the top of the charts, Kylie’s uncanny ability for re-invention, and after her success in 2023, what her fans can look forward to from the next Kylie era. This episode will be available on BBC Sounds on Friday, 8 September.

Throughout the first four episodes of Eras, listeners will hear from famous fans including Jessie Ware (who collaborated with Kylie on the single Kiss of Life released in October 2021), David Tennant (who Kylie starred with in a special Christmas episode of Doctor Who in 2007, watched by over 13 million viewers), Jack Savoretti (who duetted with Kylie for their 2018 song Music’s Too Sad Without You), Jake Shears (who collaborated with Kylie for her 2004 single I Believe in You, as well as her 2010 album Aphrodite and their 2018 song Voices), Olly Alexander, fellow Radio 2 in the Park performer Beverley Knight, Tia Kofi, Jaime Winstone, Cathy Dennis (who co-wrote Kylie’s 2001 hit, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head), and Emily Eavis. Radio 2 presenters Rylan Clark, Dermot O’Leary, Fearne Cotton, Owain Wyn Evans and Michelle Visage will also add to the conversation on what has made Kylie and her career so iconic.
