Dua Lipa Reveals More About Her “Raw” New Album
Dua Lipa has spoken about her upcoming third album, her advice for younger artists and the difficulties of having a personal life when in the spotlight in a new interview with Rolling Stone.

The singer revealed more about her highly anticipated album, which has been teased so far with the massive global hit single Houdini, “This record feels a bit more raw. I want to capture the essence of youth and freedom and having fun and just letting things happen, whether it’s good or bad. You can’t change it. You just have to roll with the punches of whatever’s happening in your life.”
Lipa went on to suggest some advice for younger artists, “Pay attention early on, especially in the business side of things… I don’t think enough people tell young artists that. Everything feels so exciting in the beginning, and of course it is, but it’s good to have the knowledge, and good to take care of yourself.”
Reflecting on the challenges that some with maintaining a private life when in the public eye, Lipa said, “I don’t think I’m here to spill my guts on a talk show because it’s going to be good for a news cycle or getting attention…As much as people think they know the people they support, I actually don’t think they know anything about them anyway.”
Expanding on the subject, she went on to discuss the difficulties of dating as somebody in the public eye, “Dating, I think overall, is just a little confusing. It’s either through friends of friends or people you trust where you can meet new people, because [dating] is not really so straightforward when you are, I guess, a public person.”
