The Fleetwood Mac star will play a headline solo set on Friday 12 July. She’ll be joined by a line-up of guest stars, yet to be announced. Tickets will go on sale here at 10am GMT next Wednesday (6 March). Fans will also be able to access a pre-sale, which begins at 10am on 4 March – sign up here.
It will be Nicks’ first UK concert in seven years. She previously performed at BST back in 2017 as support for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
“Anything that draws me back to London – and therefore to England – fills my heart with joy. And to be able to visit and make music… is always a dream come true,” wrote Nicks in a statement.
Last year, Nicks opened up about the future of Fleetwood Mac in an interview with Vulture, “When Christine died, I felt like you can’t replace her. You just can’t. Without her, what is it? You know what I mean? She was like my soul mate, my musical soul mate, and my best friend that I spent more time with than any of my other best friends outside of Fleetwood Mac.
“Christine was my best friend. When I think about Taylor Swift’s song You’re On Your Own, Kid and the line ‘you always have been,’ it was like, that was Christine and I. We were on our own in that band. We always were. We protected each other. Who am I going to look over to on the right and have them not be there behind that Hammond organ? When she died, I figured we really can’t go any further with this. There’s no reason to.”
