Scala Launch ‘Gloaming’ European Tour
Scala are launching their Gloaming tour of Europe which will see them playing shows in the UK and Ireland in February and March 2025 respectively.
They performed their opening show at the Brückenforum in Bonn, Germany, last Night (26 October) and will be playing further shows in Germany, Belgium, France The Netherlands from late October until late January 2025. They will then be performing further European shows through the spring of 2025, with the itinerary including a series of UK and Irish dates. Scala are an all-girls choir that performs and records classical arrangements of popular rock, metal, dance, hip-hop and pop songs. Scala & Kolacny Brothers’ covers have been featured in many trailers of Oscar-nominated films such as Zero Dark Thirty and The Social Network and more recently, Spencer, as well as a diverse array of television shows including Sex Education, Downton Abbey, The Simpsons, Sons Of Anarchy, Homeland, Desperate Housewives, Lucifer and Nikita.
The Gloaming tour is in support of Scala & Kolacny Brothers’ new album Besides, which was released through Warner Classics on 27 September and is available now. The set list for the tour features the band’s inimitable versions of songs by legendary acts such as The Beatles, Coldplay, Queen, Tina Turner, Metallica and Radiohead.
During the Gloaming dates, Scala & the Kolacny Brothers will perform these well-known pop and rock songs – true highlights of their Hollywood repertoire – in surprising arrangements that pack an emotional punch. After a long day the sun sets in various colours and shades and this is the fine feeling that Scala’s music evokes.
