Benson Boone, Teddy Swims Among UK’s Biggest Songs Of 2024
Hits by Benson Boone and Teddy Swims are among the UK’s biggest songs of 2024, according to a new chart compiled by Official Charts.
Boone’s Beautiful Things notched up 1.79m chart units to take the No 2 spot in the chart. Released in January and streamed 219 million times since, Beautiful Things climbed the chart for nine weeks before reaching No 1 in March. Boone also sees follow-up single Slow It Down in the year-end chart at No 31.
Meanwhile, Teddy Swims’ No 2 hit Lose Control ended up at No 4 on Official Charts’ end-of-year rundown. It’s also the best-selling and most-downloaded single of 2024, with 67,000 downloads this year.
There is also a surprising entry at No 40, with Fleetwood Mac‘s classic Everywhere showing its evergreen appeal.
