Eagles Share ‘Take It Easy’ From ‘Live From The Forum MMXVIII’
Today Eagles have shared a video of them performing their classic hit, Take It Easy, ahead of the release of Live From The Forum MMXVIII on October 16. Filmed on 14, 4K cameras, Live From The Forum MMXVIII will be available in a variety of formats, including Blu-ray, CD, vinyl, and streaming, as well as a super deluxe edition. The film captures the band performing a mix of their biggest hits, including Hotel California, Life In The Fast Lane and Desperado; beloved album tracks such as Ol’ 55 and Those Shoes, as well as some of the solo smashes of individual members from Don Henley’s Boys Of Summer, Joe Walsh’s Rocky Mountain Way, and Vince Gill’s Don’t Let Our Love Start Slippin’ Away.

The band spent most of 2018 on an extensive tour of North America that saw them receive rave reviews from both fans and critics. They took to the Forum in Los Angeles for three sold out dates: 12, 14 and 15th September. These were recorded live and highlights from these three shows make up the new 26-song live album and concert film, directed by Nick Wickham. It marks a particularly important moment, as band members Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B Schmit were joined by Vince Gill and Deacon Frey, the son of Eagles co-founder Glenn Frey, who tragically passed away in 2016. This live set will be the first recorded music released with Deacon on lead vocals. On the momentous occasion, Don Henley stated, “while we have lost a father, and a brother, and a leader, we have gained a son.”
As the best-selling American band of the 70s, and one of the top-selling acts of all time, the Eagles have sold more than 150 million albums worldwide, scored six No 1 albums and topped the singles charts five times. The band’s Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 and Hotel California are the No 1 and No 3 best-selling albums of all time according to the RIAA; certified Platinum 38x and 26x respectively. They have won six GRAMMY Awards, were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, in their first year of eligibility, and received the Kennedy Center Honors in 2016.
