Nicola Rayner

Nicola Rayner is a freelance journalist and novelist. Her articles have appeared in a number of publications, including The Guardian, The Independent, Marie Claire, Time Out and Dancing Times. The Girl Before You, her first novel, was picked by The Observer as a debut to look out for in 2019; it has been translated into multiple languages and has also been optioned for television. Her second novel, You And Me, was published by Avon, HarperCollins, in 2020. Her first ever published piece was about her favourite artist, Tori Amos, two decades ago, and she continues to be inspired by Amos to this day.
