Run The Jewels are among the artists confirmed for the 2022 edition of Coachella Music & Arts Festival. The destination fest is scheduled for 15-17April and from 22-24 April. Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Ye (Kanye West), Lil Baby, and Doja Cat are set to headline.

In addition to the headliners and Run The Jewels, the lineup also includes Phoebe Bridgers, Megan Thee Stallion, 21 Savage, Danny Elfman, Jamie xx, Big Sean, Baby Keem, Stromae, Fatboy Slim, IDLES, Caroline Polacheck, Vince Staples and many, many more. Swedish House Mafia will also be returning the desert. Visit the event’s official website for further information.

It was confirmed earlier this month that both Ye and Billie Eilish would be performing. Yesterday, news of Harry Styles’ addition was noted. Variety also pointed out that West headlined the festival in 2011 and Eilish had a monumental performance in 2019. Swedish House Mafia previously performed at Coachella in 2012.

Rumours that West, Eilish and Styles were set to headline this year’s Coachella emerged earlier this month. Travis Scott was reportedly set to top the bill but was allegedly removed following the crowd crush tragedy at his Astroworld event last year.

The reunited Rage Against the Machine, who were set to perform at the 2020 edition of the festival, do not appear on the bill for this year’s event.

The presale for Weekend 2 starts on Friday January 14 at 10 AM PT. Weekend 1 is sold out. However, as Variety noted, the Omicron surge puts dates in the air as many are wondering whether the festival will take place in April, or be moved — for a fifth time — to a later date.
The headline set will mark Styles’ debut Coachella performance. Eilish will be the youngest-ever headliner at Coachella, following a huge breakout performance at the festival back in 2019. In a glowing review of the performance, NME hailed the pop star as “a future headliner”.

Coachella had its 2020 festival postponed twice due to the pandemic. It was rescheduled to April 2021, but postponed once again in January of that year, when the public health officer in charge of Riverside County, where the festival is held, signed a public health order cancelling Coachella and its sister festival, the country music event Stagecoach.
