Gorillaz Announce Full Line-Up For Their All Points East Show
Gorillaz have announced the complete line-up for their All Points East headline set this summer, with Turnstile, Ibeyi, Nia Archives and Willow Kayne among the added acts. The show will take place on Friday August 19 at East London’s Victoria Park. Tickets are available here.
The newly announced acts join IDLES, Yves Tumor, Self Esteem, Femi Kuti, Obongjayar, NewDad, Remi Wolf, Gabriels, Kills Birds, Knucks and Ibibio Sound Machine on the eclectic bill.

Gorillaz’s UK festival exclusive set opens two huge weekends at All Points East. APE Presents: Field Day returns on Saturday, August 20 with a double headline appearance by The Chemical Brothers and Kraftwerk.
The following weekend sees headline performances from Tame Impala (Thursday 25 August), The National (Friday 26 August), Disclosure (Saturday 27 August) and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds (Sunday 28 August).
Jim King, CEO of European Festivals at AEG Presents, says: “We’re so excited to head back to Victoria Park this August and open up our 2022 event with Gorillaz. Today we have added some fantastic new artists to Gorillaz’ only UK festival show this year. Turnstiles, Knucks and Ibibio Sound Machine join an already great bill for what we know will be an amazing show this summer.”
Gorillaz mainman Damon Albarn has recently been in the news for his collaboration with Joan As Policewoman on her new single, Get My Bearings, which also features drumming from the late Tony Allen. Joan Wasser spoke about the single to Clash magazine, “Get My Bearings, a duet with Damon Albarn, was written shortly after Tony’s death. It’s an evocation of the incredibly thin membrane between life and death. The idea of “mysticism” is the only way to describe it. My intellect cannot place death. It’s what floats beyond where the music resides.”
