Aespa Announce New Dates On ‘SYNK: Parallel Line’ Tour
Aespa have added new dates in Seoul to their SYNK: Parallel Line world tour, which also features upcoming concerts in North America and Europe. See below for their remaining tour dates.
Drawing inspiration from a multi-dimensional parallel universe concept, aespa’s second world tour has delivered enhanced performances and breathtaking productions that have received widespread acclaim. Following their successful shows in Asia, anticipation is building for their upcoming events in North America, and Europe.
The news of comes days after the group won Song Of The Year at the Golden Disc Awards for Supernova. The Golden Disc Awards were held at the Mizuho PayPay Dome in Fukuoka, Japan over the weekend on 4 to 5 January.
Last year, the group released their debut album, Armageddon. Their label SM Entertainment described Armageddon as an album “filled with aespa’s deeper musical world and message” and also includes “the narrative of the second season of aespa’s worldview that expands into the multiverse, beyond the real and digital worlds”.
SM Entertainment also revealed last year that member WINTER, 23, underwent preventive surgery to treat a collapsed lung. In a statement, SM said that the procedure was intended to treat a pneumorthorax, a condition in which air accumulates in the chest, applying pressure on the lungs and possibly leading to collapse. “Winter is recovering from recent pneumothorax surgery. As the disease is prone to recurrence, the decision was made as a preemptive measure based on the opinions of the medical staff after sufficient discussion,” read a statement from the label.
The statement noted that WINTER’s recovery is a priority and that “future schedules will be made with Winter’s recovery status as the top priority.”
