Campaign co-chair Jeffrey Katzenberg confirmed to Deadline that both Morissette and Bailey will be featured entertainers during the afternoon for the event.

The event is the first campaign fundraiser since Kamala Harris became the official Democratic Party nominee.

The proceeds from the event will go to the Harris Victory Fund, which, as per Deadline, raises money for the Harris campaign, the Democratic National Committee and state parties. Tickets for the event cost $500 (£373).

Meanwhile, a host of other stars most notably Taylor Swift and Charli XCX have endorsed Harris as their presidential candidate. Harris has since shared that she is “very proud” of the former’s endorsement while the latter’s tweet was adopted by the Democrat nominee’s campaign team.

Billie Eilish and Finneas also recently championed Kamala Harris while Eilish’s ‘When the Party’s Over’ recently featured in the Democrat’s Ad on reproductive care.

Also in Alanis Morissette news, the star is among among the big names set to perform at Eddie Vedder’s annual Ohana Festival in 2024. The annual gathering began in 2016 and aims to extend its offerings with more outside music. One such addition is The Cove, a unique area within the festival representing a cross-section of art and environmentalism with curated programming on the Storytelling Stage. The area taps into the festival’s intent to raise awareness about ocean and environmental issues through discussions, exhibits, and panels from world-renowned conservationists, environmentalists, researchers, and surfers. Also included is an art gallery with work curated by Charles R. Alder.
