Tickets for the festivals are currently on sale now. 2025 will also mark the 40th anniversary of the twin festivals with over 100 acts set to perform across four stages. More names are set to be announced at a later date.

Last year’s edition of the German festivals saw Foo Fighters replace Pantera after the metal band was dropped from the line-up.

Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park festivals had announced that they were removing Pantera from the line-up over an outcry relating to past allegations of racism. The reformed band, featuring Phil Anselmo, Rex Brown, Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante, were due to perform at the festivals that take place last year between 2-4 June in Nürburgring and Nürnberg, respectively.

Earlier this year, Biffy Clyro also announced six special UK shows this October to celebrate their first three albums: Blackened Sky, Vertigo Of Bliss and Infinity Land. The shows are to reward hardcore fans who have been with the band throughout their journey to date.

Elsewhere, in other Slipknot news, Sid Wilson was recently hospitalised after sustaining “serious burns” to his face and arms in a farming accident.

The turntablist revealed his gruesome injuries in a series of Instagram posts on 23 August, showing second-degree burns all over his upper body, with a nurse tending to his wounds.

The incident occurred while Wilson was working on the farm that he and his girlfriend Kelly Osbourne own, with Kelly saying in one video, “This is why you don’t fuck with burn piles. He literally set himself on fire, exploded everything.”
