Bruno Mars To Open New MGM Music Hall At Fenway In Boston
Bruno Mars will officially open the beautiful, new 5,000-seat MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, MA, with a three-night engagement on Wednesday, 7 September, Friday, 9 September, and Sunday, 11 September.
The celebrated singer, songwriter, producer, and musician has sold over 200 million singles worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists. The two-time Super Bowl halftime performer, has had more number 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 than any other male artist this decade. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 6th at 10 a.m. via the Ticketmaster website.
Located at the intersection of Lansdowne and Ipswich Streets, adjacent to the legendary home of the Boston Red Sox, the MGM Music Hall at Fenway is the new, state-of-the-art, multi-purpose performing arts center, occupying roughly 91,500 square feet on four levels.
Elsewhere, Mars recently swept the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, taking home four awards including Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song, all for Leave The Door Open. This comes after the song becomes Bruno’s 17th song to reach Multi-Platinum status.
Alongside Anderson Paak. as Silk Sonic, Mars’ 64th Annual Grammy win for Record of the Year, makes him only the second artist in Grammy history to win the category three times, following Simon and Garfunkel.
Bruno’s critically acclaimed Leave The Door Open climbed its’ way from No. 3 to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it his eighth No. 1. He became one of the 18 artists in Hot 100 history to ever do so. 24K Magic marked his highest first week sales debut, remaining in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 for an impressive 44 consecutive weeks.
