Extra dates in Bucharest, Lyon, Rome and Helsinki have been added as of today (July 25), as well as an additional show in Dublin’s Croke Park Stadium at the beginning of September, making for three back-to-back shows in the Ireland capital. For full dates see below.
Presale tickets for previously-announced shows in the 2024 tour went live today, with the general on-sale DUE to take place on Friday (28 July) at 10am local time for all cities. They will be available here.
Kicking off with a show in Athens on 8 June, Coldplay are also set to play their first gig in Rome in over 20 years, with the last concert in the city being held back in 2003. Though no UK dates are included this time around, the four-piece will end their upcoming 2024 dates with three back-to-back performances at Dublin’s Croke Park.
Coldplay recently gave fans an update on their efforts to ensure that their current tour is as environmentally friendly as possible.
A statement on the band’s website reads: “When we first announced the Music Of The Spheres Tour, we hoped to make it as environmentally beneficial as possible and reduce our direct carbon emissions (from show production, freight, band and crew travel) by 50%. We’d like to share how it’s been going; some things work and some things need improving.
