Martin Chilton

Martin Chilton has written about music for three decades, including working on books on jazz, editing a partwork magazine on the history of rock and writing album liner notes. He is a former culture editor of The Telegraph, where he was also a music critic, columnist and interviewer. He has chaired talks with musicians at major literary festivals and is now a freelance music writer and the Independent’s chief book critic.
