Dua Lipa On Glastonbury Headline Slot: ‘I’ve Dreamt Of This Moment All My Life”
Dua Lipa has posted about her upcoming Glastonbury appearance, saying she’s dreamed of headlining the festival all her life.

Lipa has been confirmed as the Friday night headliner for the Somerset festival on 28 June along with other bill-toppers Coldplay and SZA.
She posted on Instagram: “FRIDAY NIGHT PYRAMID STAGE HEADLINE!!!! I have dreamt of this moment all my life.
“Something that lived only in my wildest dreams and highest manifestations !!! “I am so excited to see you all in my favourite place on earth and make it a night to remember!! Thank you @emily_eavis ~ GLASTO 4EVER.”
The news came as the singer announced the release of her third album, Radical Optimism, released on 3 May and is available to pre-order now.
Featuring the hit singles Houdini and last month’s Training Season, Radical Optimism features an additional nine tracks.
“A couple years ago, a friend introduced me to the term Radical Optimism,” Lipa revealed. “It’s a concept that resonated with me, and I became more curious as I started to play with it and weave it into my life. It struck me—the idea of going through chaos gracefully and feeling like you can weather any storm.
“At the same time, I found myself looking through the music history of psychedelia, trip hop, and Britpop. It has always felt so confidently optimistic to me, and that honesty and attitude is a feeling I took into my recording sessions.”
A press release said of the album, “Inspired by Dua’s own self-discovery, Radical Optimism is an album that taps into the pure joy and happiness of having clarity in situations that once seemed impossible to face. The hard goodbyes and vulnerable beginnings that previously threatened to crush your soul, become milestones as you choose optimism and start to move with grace through the chaos.”
