“10th anniversary of Multiply this year, which feels wild but also a lot has happened in that 10 years,” Ed wrote on Instagram on Wednesday. “This album was made from 2011 – 2014, and spanned my whole personal life through that time, which was a mad time.”
He continued, “Going from playing pubs and clubs to selling arenas in those years, falling in and out of love, travelling all round the world, working with some of the best producers in the world, it was a real rollercoaster, and it’s been amazing to revisit all the memories.”
To celebrate the milestone anniversary, Sheeran will play a show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on 22 May.
The setlist for Sheeran’s concert will reflect the album’s Wembley Edition — a live recording version from 2015. For the show, he’s partnering with ticketing service Seated to ensure that his fans are able to get tickets.
Registration for the show opened on Wednesday, May 1 and will continue until Thursday, May 2 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The general on-sale will begin for selected fans on Monday, May 6 at 10 a.m. ET.
Ed will also release a 10th-anniversary edition of the album, featuring the original track list, including hits Sing and Thinking Out Loud, as well as nine bonus tracks. The record will be released on 21 June.
“Can’t wait to experience the multiply show with you, and remember some amazing moments over this summer together,” Ed continued in the post. “Multiply anniversary show is on 22nd May at Barclays Center New York.
