Iron Maiden, Slipknot & More Confirmed For 2024 Aftershock Festival
The bill for the 2024 Aftershock festival has been confirmed, and it features the reunited Slayer along with fellow headliners Iron Maiden, Pantera, Slipknot, Mötley Crüe, Judas Priest, Five Finger Death Punch and Disturbed. The four-day fest is set for 10-13 October at Discovery Park in Sacramento, California.
The fest will mark Slayer’s only West Coast appearance of 2024, as well as Maiden’s only US festival gig of the year. Slayer recently announced that they’d be reuniting to play Riot Fest and Louder Than Life, marking their first shows since wrapping up their farewell tour in November 2019. Meanwhile, Pantera are making good on their promise to play Aftershock after bowing out last year.

This year’s Aftershock fest will include two headliners on each day. Slayer and Pantera will co-headline the Thursday (October 10th) bill that will also feature Lindemann, Ministry, Halestorm, Filter, Cypress Hill, grandson, Sevendust, Static-X, Biohazard, Insane Clown Posse, Ho99o9, Better Lovers, and more.
The Friday, 11 October line-up will be topped by Slipknot and Five Finger Death Punch, and also include Evanescence, Dropkick Murphys, Rise Against, Mastodon, Juliette and the Licks, Architects, Poppy, Daron Malakian’s Scars on Broadway, L.S. Dunes, Code Orange, Highly Suspect, Marky Ramone, and more.
Iron Maiden and Judas Priest top the 2024 Aftershock bill on Saturday 12 October, rounded out by Breaking Benjamin, Anthrax, Staind, Clutch, Lorna Shore, Body Count, Tech N9ne, Coal Chamber, Whitechapel, and others.
Finally, Mötley Crüe and Disturbed close out the 2024 Aftershock fest on Sunday 13 October, topping a bill that also includes Falling in Reverse, Seether, Skillet, Flogging Molly, PUP, Tom Morello, Shadows Fall, Eagles of Death Metal, Fear Factory, The Armed, and more.
