Jack Harlow has shared his new single, a reflective track titled Tranquility. You can watch the song’s official video below.

Produced by Hollywood Cole and mixed by Nickie Jon Pabon, Tranquility sees the Kentucky artist rap: “I ain’t lookin for no hip hop credibility / Give a fuck who feelin’ me, I’m feelin’ me,” over a simple and minimalistic beat, addressing his current place within the industry. Harlow also takes a moment to say: “Lost a few m’s on the festival / Okay, and I can’t wait to do the second one,” reflecting on the money he lost after cancelling day two of his inaugural Gazebo Festival in Louisville due to “hazardous” weather.

Tranquility also calls out the hate Harlow has received. He raps: “My prime’s in full swing like a Callaway / I need a dime every dollar New Balance makes / Ain’t ’bout to let the world takе my smile away,” and takes a moment to admit that “The hate got to me, but I had to act straight.”

The song’s accompanying video sees the Lovin On Me hitmaker strolling through a cold NYC winter day dressed in a long black coat and black hat while rapping the song.

Tranquility follows on from Harlow’s previous release Hello Miss Johnson which marked his return after a short hiatus. According to a press release, “Jack is working on a new project right now. More on this to follow.” His last full-length release was 2023’s Jackman.

Late in 2023, Harlow scored his first UK Number One with his hit Lovin On Me. The track, which samples 1995 R&B cut ‘Whatever’ by Cadillac Dale, became the most-streamed track in the UK with over 5.1 million streams.

Previously, Harlow has claimed three top ten songs in the UK charts including Industry Baby with Lil Nas X which reached number three, First Class that reached number two and ‘3D’ with BTS’ Jung Kook reaching number five.
