Jane’s Addiction, Beck, Killer Mike Confirmed For 2024 Evolution Festival
The Evolution Festival is returning for its second year in Forest Park, St. Louis on 28-29 September 28–29. It’s expected to be an electrifying blend of music, art, and food. The organizers just released the line-up, which is filled with world renowned acts.
The 2024 festival includes headliners The Killers and Beck, alongside other notable artists like Jane’s Addiction, Blondie, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Todd Rundgren, Beachwood Sparks, Son Volt and 2024 Grammy winner, Killer Mike.
Beyond music, attendees can expect a showcase of the city’s culinary talents, visual arts, and brewers. Building on the success of its inaugural year, Evolution Festival is set to offer another memorable weekend. Visit the event’s official website for further information.
Jane’s Addiction also recently announced a short headline UK tour for May and June 2024. Following their previously announced headline slot at Bearded Theory Festival in Derbyshire, the legendary Los Angeles rockers will perform four of their own shows.
Opening with two night at London’s The Roundhouse (27 and 29 May), the band then play Glasgow Barrowland (31 May) and Manchester O2 Apollo (3 June). They also have an Irish date lined up at The Summer Series at Trinity College, Dublin on Friday, June 28, 2024.
Singer Perry Farrell said in a statement: “Tonight the Jane’s camp is over the moon, as we’re finally able to announce UK, European headline, and festival shows.
“It has been far too long – my Janes Addiction family! We can’t wait to see your faces again, (well look at you)… singing songs, and soaring to the moon in a new rocket. Togetherness – roll on 2024!”
The quintet of summer shows are Jane’s Addiction’s first concerts in the UK since they played The Forum in Kentish Town, London in June 2016 when they performed their classic album Ritual de lo Habitual in its entirety. A day before the London gig, Jane’s Addiction headlined the second stage at the rain-lashed Download Festival 2016.
