Kid Rock’s ‘Greatest Hits You Never Saw Coming’ Set For Vinyl Reissue
Kid Rock’s hits collection Greatest Hits You Never Saw Coming, originally released in 2018, is set for vinyl reissue.
The collection features hits from Kid Rock’s Warner Music era including Bawitdaba, Cowboy, American Bad Ass " and Picture (Feat. Sheryl Crow). The album will be reissued on a 2LP on Cowboy gold vinyl as a Walmart exclusive for the US and internationally for all retail excluding Amazon.
The exclusive Cowboy Gold double vinyl LP pressing is composed of fifteen remastered tracks, all recorded since 1998. This powerhouse collection reflects over two decades of cross-genre hits from the superstar. The tracklist plays out like the ultimate Kid Rock set, reflecting his indelible imprint on rock, country, pop, and hip-hop. Greatest Hits You Never Saw Coming represents an extensive vision of two decades of Kid Rock and speaks to his enduring popularity.
Kid Rock released his mainstream debut album, Devil Without A Cause, on 18 August 1998, via Atlantic Records. The album was certified diamond by the RIAA and sold 11 million copies in the United States. From 1999 to 2000 he produced four major Billboard Hot 100 hits in Bawitdaba, Cowboy, Only God Knows Why and American Bad Ass, all of which feature on Greatest Hits You Never Saw Coming.
He crossed over to the country charts in 2003 with Picture, a duet with Sheryl Crow. His album Cocky was released in 2001 as the follow-up to Devil Without a Cause and sold 5 million copies, followed by 2003’s Kid Rock and 2006’s Live Trucker. The latter was Kid Rock’s first live release, going gold and selling over 600,000 copies. In 2007, Kid Rock made his comeback with Rock n Roll Jesus, which was certified triple platinum and in 2008, he enjoyed his biggest hit to date with All Summer Long, which reached number 1 in eight countries and hit number 23 in the United States.
