Liam Gallagher To Release Collector Edition Of ‘Why Me? Why Not’
Liam Gallagher will release a collectors’ edition of his No 1 album, Why Me? Why Not that features 14 white 7″ vinyl records housed in a hard case lift-off box. Each record features a track from the album’s Deluxe Edition on the A-side with a different coloured screen printed image on the B-side. The fourteen discs all also feature sleeves with their own unique piece of artwork. The package is completed with a numbered 7” artwork print.
Released in September 2019, Why Me? Why Not shot straight to No 1 proving that Liam Gallagher’s star quality remains undeniable. The album’s success included 68,000 first week sales and became 2019’s fastest selling vinyl release. It was subsequently certified Gold. It followed his 2017 debut solo record, As You Were.

It isn’t the only news Liam Gallagher has shared, tweeting today (5th November) that he had “a celestial announcement to make on Monday”. Which may be new music, as he responded to a tweet from a fan in September saying he had a new album due in 2021 but that “I’ll give you a little tune this year to cheer youse up”, referring to the Coronavirus pandemic.
