Snoop Dogg Shares Details Of New Album, ‘Take It From A G’
Snoop Dogg has announced his new record, Take It From A G, which is due out in December.
While a specific release date hasn’t been announced, Snoop Dogg shared the news yesterday (31st October) on his Instagram profile with a video that features a toy version of a low rider car, painted golden yellow and purple, in a nod to the LA Lakers basketball team.
While it is unclear whether the cover image has been announced, the video also features an image of Snoop dressed in a green jacket and trousers, wearing Converse trainers and sitting on the hood of a white car.
Take It From A G will be Snoop Dogg’s 18th studio album to date, following last year’s I Wanna Thank Me. It’s also been 27 years since his debut album was released, 1993’s Doggy Style which went to No 1 on the US Billboard charts. Snoop Dogg also released his first gospel record in 2018, with Bible Of Love.
The Instagram video, which can be watched below, plays a smippet of what fans can expect from the new album, Take It From A G, and show that he’s back to his classic hip-hop stylings.
