Mattel wrote on their socials, “The encore you’ve been waiting for 🤘🎸🖤 The legendary @StevieNicks Barbie doll is back by popular demand with a limited re-release! Don’t miss your chance to join in on the music. #Barbie #BarbieStyle”

The doll sold out immediately on its worldwide re-release on Monday with fans hoping the toy manufacturer will announce another run.

A statement on Mattel’s site reads, “With her unique voice, singular style, and stellar songwriting career, Stevie Nicks is a trailblazing icon. Now, to celebrate her amazing accomplishments as an artist, we are releasing the Stevie Nicks doll as our latest in the Barbie Music Series. We designed this doll with a flowing black dress (reminiscent of the outfit worn on the cover of the 1977 Rumours album) along with her signature platform boots. This tribute to one of the most successful songwriters of all time is a showstopping collectible for music fans everywhere.”

Nicks spoke about the doll onstage at her Madison Square Garden gig last year, telling the audience, “When I look at her I see my 27 year old self. I am her and she is me.”

Nicks was forced to cancel her shows this week in Glasgow and Manchester after an injury. A statement reads, “Due to a recent leg injury requiring a minor surgical procedure that will need a few days of recovery time, Stevie Nicks’ scheduled performances in Glasgow Saturday 6 July and Manchester Tuesday 9 July have been postponed.

“More information will be available at point of purchase, ticketholders are advised to hold on to their tickets as rescheduled dates will be announced soon. Stevie looks forward to seeing everyone at Hyde Park in London.”

Nicks will play a solo headline set at London’s BST Hyde Park 2024 on Friday 12 July, with support coming from Brandi Carlile, Anna Calvi and Paris Paloma.
