Nesbitt posted to her Instagram after supporting Nicks at Dublin’s 3Arena last night (Wednesday 3 July). The singer wrote: “WAKE ME UP I’M DREAMING 🔮✨☁️ thank you so much @stevienicks & dublin for having me last night. absolute career highlight and it’s only night one!! I found out about this tour a matter of days ago and struggled to get the full band over but sometimes doing these things a little differently can be just as fun and rewarding. I was really nervous to play this set for the first time but loved stripping down these new songs for you all and appreciate the lovely messages. stevie’s show was one of my favourites I’ve ever seen and I’m SO inspired hearing all her stories and songs. icon. queen. can’t wait for glasgow on saturday, see you all there.”

Nicks recently made the news after attending Taylor Swift’s show at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin, on 30 June. Swift dedicated the first live performance of The Tortured Poets Department track Clara Bow to Nicks, telling the crowd, ““I’ve never played this song live at all. The reason I want to play this tonight is because a friend of mine is here who is watching the show is one of the reasons why I or any other female artists get to do what I get to do.

“She’s paved the way for us… she’s a hero of mine and also someone I could tell any secret to; she’d never tell anybody. She’s really helped me through so much over the years. I’m talking about Stevie Nicks.”

Nicks was later spotted enjoying Dublin’s nightlife with Swift and support act Paramore, hitting the Hacienda Bar in the capital city.

Nicks will play a solo headline set at London’s BST Hyde Park 2024 on Friday 12 July, with support coming from Brandi Carlile, Anna Calvi and Paris Paloma.
